UVRip
Rip off UV Maps
New Version 1.05
UVRip is yet another UV Map extractor. This project started as a simple plugin
and was almost ready for completion when Primitive Itch released their Unwrapper.
UVRip was shelved for a while but I pulled it out again to release as a simple
TSX with commented source for beginners to use as a reference. Unfortunately it
got a little out of hand and a bit more functionality than originally intended
snuck in. The textures used in the image
below were all created using UVRip.
New To Version 1.05
trueSpace 3.0 support.
Preview window.
Alpha channel support.
Added compression and 32 bit TGA output.
New To Version 1.01
Some internal code rearrangement and extra error checking.
Source Code released.
Version 1
Extracts an image of an objects UV map and writes it to a 24 bit TGA file.
The plugin allows you to set image size and colour, draw anti-aliased lines
and remap invalid UV map entries.
Requirements
trueSpace 3.0 or above
